Private Tutoring in English, Elocution, Singing and Drama + Corporate Choir

Alongside her acting work, Jo teaches singing and drama privately, including LAMDA preparation and audition preparation.

She also does a lot of work teaching English as a Foreign Language (CELTA grade A), and specialises in Elocution for both native and non-native speakers, helping people who are unhappy with their speaking voice and want to soften/change their accent or work on clarity/intonation/expression. This discipline combines her skills as an actress and her linguistic knowledge (1st Class degree in Modern Languages at Cambridge University, MA Distinction Acting, Central School of Speech and Drama).

She works with adults and children (CRB checked), and has recently been employed as an elocution tutor by ITV.

Jo has led choirs for the BBC and Guy's Hospital. Every year, she organises four-part harmony carol-singing for Save the Children at Victoria Station in London (no rehearsals, music provided).

To book her to coach a choir at your workplace (regular sessions or one-off workshops are possible), or if you are interested in singing with her choir at Christmas, please email her at .
